Historian

Among Moore's ancestors are lawmen, miners, ranchers, railroaders, surveyors, merchants, and lawyers. One great uncle died in the Cripple Creek labor wars and another died while working on the Moffat Road. Such a background gives awareness and texture to the study of the past.

His interests and expertise include Colorado railroad, mining and mountaineering history. The big picture of World War Two is of interest as well as the Southwest Pacific Theater. Water development underlies our society but is seldom considered. This is an area of study.

Trips to view and understand historical occurrences are fun and informative.
